Experience the best of the Lake District with our award-winning guided tours

Day Trips from Liverpool to the Lake District

Our day trips from Liverpool to the Lake District give you an ideal way to see the world-famous landscapes that are located within the National Park.

Mountain Goat tours starting from Liverpool depart three times a week giving you the opportunity to explore the best of the Lake District without the hassle of driving. The journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site is approximately two hours.

Once in the National Park, the tour will start by making your way from Bowness Bay towards Waterhead on our cruise across England’s largest Lake. This will give you the opportunity to relax whilst enjoying the unrivalled views of Lake Windermere.

Throughout the tour, you will have the chance to see many historical landmarks as well as the most photographed destinations throughout The Lakes. Visit Beatrix Potter’s 17th century Hill Top Farm, where she drew inspiration for many of her famous children’s stories. Explore the medieval village of Hawkshead which was once home to famous poet William Wordsworth and photograph the phenomenal beauty spot of Tarn Hows.

As your Lake District tour comes to an end, we will begin our journey back to Liverpool.
