This Private tour is an ideal way to see the beautiful landscape that makes up the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Departing you will head north to the traditional Yorkshire village of Grassington, the traditional Yorkshire village is currently used as Darrowby in the current series of All Creatures Great and Small. Have some time for photos and the opportunity to explore this historic village. Following a scenic route past a series of traditional villages the tour then heads to Aysgarth Falls. The Falls were made famous in the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and were visited by historical figures such as Turner, Ruskin and Wordsworth.
After Aysgarth Falls, you will make your way to Askrigg where you’ll have some time to look around the village.
On leaving Askrigg you will drive over the dales to Muker and over the stunning Buttertubs Pass which boasts some incredible views, here you’ll have opportunities to take photos. If there is time, a stop at the Creamery in Hawes is possible where you can try the famous Wensleydale Cheese.
Next, you will head to the Ribblehead Viaduct where some amazing photographic opportunities await as the Settle to Carlisle rail viaduct soars above the valley floor.
