This private tour gives you a day in the Lake District National Park, from Chester. It’s an ideal way to see amazing landscape associated with this stunning National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site in comfort and style.

Travel in a Mercedes Viano with your own personal driver guide from Chester and head north to the Lake District via the M6 Motorway, in approximately two hours you will arrive in the Lake District.  

As you start your Lake District tour, you will head to Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top Farm, where she wrote many of her famous children’s stories in this 17th century cottage. You will have the opportunity to go into the house (additional charge) and explore the garden and visit the shop.

You will also visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, famous for its connection with Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. You will have time here to explore the cobbled alleys and get something to eat, from shops to cafe's, galleries and so much more. It's a beautiful village and a highlight of the tour. William Wordsworth's old Grammar School can also be found here, along with St Michael and All Angels Church which overlooks the village of Hawkshead.

Onwards then, to the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, which is one of the most photographed locations in the Lake District. Soak up the stunning views looking towards the mountains at Tarn Hows.

Your Lake District day tour would also not be complete without a cruise on one of the famous lakes. You can sit back and enjoy the unrivalled views of the lake and the fell ranges beyond!

As your Lake District tour comes to an end, you will be driven back to Chester by your experienced guide for drop off at your hotel.

Lunch is not included within the tour price however you will stop in one of our Lakeland villages for approximately 1 hour. You will find a number of pubs, cafes, restaurants and sandwich shops here.
 

Cancellation Policy

To confirm a booking we require the full amount at time of booking. You may cancel 72 hours prior to departure and recieve a full refund. After 72 hours no refund will be issued.
