Lake District Day Tours in Winter
The Lake District is beautiful in every season, but there is something quite magical in Winter! The cold, crisp mornings with white dusted fells in the background, everywhere is much quieter this time of year making it a great time to visit.

Winter Southern Lakes Highlights
Highlights of this afternoon tour will include the famous mountainous valleys of the Langdales, taking in the view at Tarn Hows, and free time to explore the medieval village of Hawkshead. The tours includes a cruise on the longest lake in England, Windermere. Throughout the tour there will be plenty of time to admire the scenery, as your local guide takes you through one of the most beautiful corners of England.
Winter Ten Lakes Spectacular Tour
Our Winter Ten Lakes Spectacular Tour is our most popular tour. It introduces you to the north and south of the Lakes region, traveling through a magnificent scenery of mountains, valleys, and lakes.
See the region’s most spectacular sights, such as Borrowdale Valley, Newlands Valley, Thirlmere, and Grasmere. A definite highlight will be the Castlerigg Stone Circle, one of the most famous stone circles in the country, where you will get picture-perfect views of the Lake District’s highest peaks. You will also break for lunch in Keswick, where you can try a typical pub meal, or seek out a charming restaurant in your own time.
