Mountain Goat received several prestigious accolades for its commitment to high-quality visitor experiences.

As its busy summer season concludes, Mountain Goat, the iconic sightseeing tour company established in 1972, is celebrating significant achievements, including major tourism awards and milestones in its expanding operation hubs. The company also confirmed it will maintain a robust, though slightly reduced, tour schedule throughout the upcoming winter months.

Mountain Goat will continue offering its popular day trips to North Wales and the Lake District direct from Manchester during the winter. Year-round tours covering the Dales, Moors, and Lake District will also remain available from the company’s York and Lake District bases.

The announcement comes as Mountain Goat marks 10 years of successful operation from its York base and six years from Manchester, signifying a decade of strategic expansion beyond its roots in the North West.

"The success of our tours is truly defined by our wonderful driver guides, who are often the highlight of our customers’ experience—second only to the spectacular sights and scenery they explore," said [Asia Connors, Group Sales & Marketing Manager]. "We are thrilled to close out the summer season with such strong achievements that validate their passion and our half-century commitment to quality tourism."
