As of 30th March 2019, Mountain Goat Tours will be expanding to new locations offering day tours from Chester, Liverpool and Manchester! Here's a little bit more about what we will be offering from Chester.

Chester

Chester is a city in the North West of England that was founded by the Romans over 2000 year ago. It attracts thousands of visitors each year and for a number a reasons. Whether its because of its rich history and culture, from the Roman amphitheatre to the medieval half-timbered buildings and the famous Cheshire Oaks shopping, there is a rare blend of the ancient and traditional along with a dash of cosmopiltan!

Chester is not only encircled by a stunning two mile ring of Roman and medival walls but it's a great location and not far from The Lake District and North Wales. Here at Mountain Goat we are now introducing two new tours from Chester and three guesses where we will be too? 

1. The Lake District from Chester

This Lake District day tour from Chester is an ideal way to see amazing landscape associated with the stunning National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour will leave Chester three times a week and is a great introduction to the Lakes, highlights include, a Lake Cruise, time in the medieval village of Hawkshead, Tarn Hows, a knowlegdeable Driver/Guide and the opportunity to see the very best of the Lakes with lots of photo opportunities.

2. North Wales from Chester

This wonderful tour of North Wales from Chester will run twice a week. It gives you a day in North Wales including the Snowdonia National Park. It’s an ideal way for those who are short on time but want to see amazing landscapes associated with this stunning part of Wales. Highlights of the tour include Llandudno and the Great Orme, Llyn Ogwen, Conway Castle and free time for lunch at Betws-y-Coed.
