A Yorkshireman born and bred, who is proud to live and work within the beautiful English Lake District. Mark enjoys travelling the world but always loves coming home to ‘The Lakes’. Throughout his late teens and early twenties Mark explored the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors but then ‘discovered’ the Lake District which has since become his home.
After running his own business for many years Mark now delights in being a tour guide sharing his passion of Northern England with visitors from all over the world.
Mark has a keen mind for science and geography, he also enjoys astronomy, meteorology, science fiction, gardening, keep fit and cooking and is currently learning to speak Japanese.
