As a small local business Mountain Goat actively supports the development of Conservation working through tourism to maintain and preserve the Lake District for future generations to enjoy. As a proud supporter and partner of 'Nurture Lakeland' we have developed into a sustainable business providing local employment and
working with local companies and to offer a unique product and service.

At Mountain Goat we're helping to preserve and conserve the landscape by financing vital conservation work. We have been introduced to this project by the Nurture Lakeland who aim to raise funds from visitors and tourism businesses to maintain and enhance the Lake District. Our business is guided by the need to operate in a responsible fashion and we encourage our guests to support our activities in conservation through an 'opt out' contribution scheme on our holidays and Short Breaks. With your permission, we add £3.00 to your final account as your donation to projects we are actively involved in.
