Glan Aber hotel is situated just a short distance from the centre of the village of Betws Y Coed and is handy for the shops and the walks alongside the rivers Conway and Llugwy. We have used this hotel for many years. It is comfortable, with very nice food and rooms.

Return transfers from Llandudno Railway Station and the Coach Stop to the Hotel. Our experienced driver/guide for the duration of the holiday. Full site seeing programme, 7 nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. Welcome pack including itinerary details.

Wednesday
We meet you at Landudno Junction railway station between 2 and 4 pm and transfer you to the Glan Aber Hotel. Before dinner we have a drinks party where you can meet your fellow guests
Thursday
Today we travel to Anglesey via Capel Curig and the mountains through the Nant Francon Pass on the A5, the Telford road. We cross the Brittania Bridge into Anglesey and after a look at Newborough Warren visit Plas Newydd, the seat of the Marquess of Anglesey. We carry on after lunch alongside the Menai Straight to Beaumaris on the return and back to Betws through the mountains.
Friday
Starting the day on a real "Mountain Goat" road we visit the birthplace of Bishop Morgan at Ty Mawr, way up in the mountains. From here we drive to Portmeirion and its eclectic village. On then to Harlech for lunch and a visit to the castle. The afternoon sees us passing through Barmouth and then up the beautiful Mawddach Estuary under Calder Idris. We stop for tea in the pretty market town of Dolgllau and return to Betws via Trawsfynnydd and Ffestiniog.
Saturday
Along the upper reaches of the Afon Lledr passing the Welsh Prince castle of Dolwyddelan, through the dramatic slates of Blaneau Festiniog we make our way to the costal town of Criccieth for a morning coffee stop. We journey to Abersoch and Aberdaron for lunch. In the afternoon we head on up to St Mary's Headland with dramatic views over the Irish Sea and Bardsey Island. We then start our drive back to Betws via Portmadoc, where we catch the steam train to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Sunday
Under current rules your driver/guide has to have a day of rest so today is a free one for you to relax and explore Betws. Your guide will make suggestions as to how to spend your day.
Monday
Today we are going into different territory, more gentle countryside as we make our way to the market town of Bala, Wale's largest natural lake as we make our way through the stunning scenery of Lake Vyrnwy. We return to Bala for a tea stop before making our way back to Betws.
Tuesday
Up into the mountains at Capel Curig and on to Nant Gwynant we head for Beddgelert, well known for its associations with the Welsh Princes, where we stop for a break. We then turn north to Rhydd Ddu under Snowdon and take a ride on the newly opened Welsh Highland Railway to Caernnavon where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon we head for Llanberis, have a look at the slate museum and heritage centre before starting our journey back to the hotel.
Wednesday
After breakfast we transfer you to Llandudno Junction for your journey home.
