This full day tour explores some of the remotest parts of the Lake District.
We cross over the Kirkstone Pass as we head to Glenridding for a Lake Cruise
on Ullswater. After we venture to Martindale to see the 800 year old church, we drive up to Pooley Bridge for a lunch stop. From here we go to Askham, set near Lowther Park where we can see the façade of Lowther Castle. Through the remote Lowther Valley our next destination is Shap Abbey, before we make our last stop in the village of Orton. After we head over Shap Summit making our way back to Windermere.
