Monday

We meet you at Oxenholme or Windermere railway stations or the Windermere coach stop and transfer you to your hotel. Before dinner we all meet and have a welcome drinks party.
Tuesday
Today we start the holiday with a journey to the Northern Lakes, finding autumn colours on the shores of the ten lakes we pass. We cruise on Derwentwater and take in the panorama from Surprise View and the majestic valley of Borrowdale.
Wednesday
Our spectacular High Adventure tour awaits you today, driving over the high passes of Wrynose and Hardnott, visiting ‘Britain’s Favourite View’ of Wastwater and then on to Muncaster Castle, before returning via Corney Fell.
Thursday
Today, we leave the Lakes for our tour of the wild and beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We drive through Garsdale and Swaledale, and over Buttertubs to Reeth for lunch; then on to Bolton Castle, Aysgarth Falls and Hawes, where we visit the famous Wensleydale Cheese factory. Our day finishes with a drive down the breathtaking Dent Dale and Barbondale, before driving home via Kirkby Lonsdale.
Friday
We look for more autumn colours a little closer to home today, with a drive through the Lyth Valley, the ‘Damson Valley’, and over Gummers Howe to the viewpoint overlooking Windermere. Driving on through the Rusland Valley with its beech trees and resting place of Arthur Ransom, before taking coffee in Grizedale Forest. Then on to Hilltop to see Beatrix Potter’s garden followed by lunch in Hawkshead. The afternoon includes Tarn Hows, Coniston and a cruise on the famous Steam Yacht Gondola on Coniston Water.
Saturday
There will be complimentary transfers to the railway Station at Oxenholme or Windermere coach stop.
