This tour takes you through the gentle limestone country of the Southern Lake District, over hills with wonderful Lakeland views and the famous damson valleys. We stop off at a 1930’s railway station for mid-morning refreshments. We spend time at Lord and Lady Cavendish’s Holker Hall, tour the house and walk the gardens. Another stop is at the monastic village of Cartmel, famous for its Priory and sticky toffee pudding shop.
