Known across the world for it’s glistening lakes, breath-taking scenery, and romantic character. Visit some of the most spectacular scenery in the country including the 4000 year old atmospheric Castlerigg Stone Circle, the undoubtedly spectacular Surprise View and the most photographed bridge in the Lake District, Ashness Bridge. 

Follow in the footsteps of the famous by proposing the Lake District. Did you know former United States president, Bill Clinton famously proposed to his first lady, Hilary Clinton on a trip to the Lake District in 1973. Along with the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton who got engaged on a walking visit to the Lake District in 2016. 

Your driver guide will give you space to enjoy the day at leisure and when it is right, we will take you to the perfect place to make your proposal. Our discreet driver-guide will capture the moment and every detail without any hassle for you. These pictures will become your best memories and you will be able to share them with your friends and family as you recount this joyous event. Once you have done the hard bit, celebrate in style with a delicious local picnic and a bottle of something special to toast your new engagement. 

A Full Day Proposal Package (8 hours) including a local picnic and bottle of fizz is priced at £485.00 or a Half Day Proposal Package (4.5 hour) including a local picnic and bottle of fizz is priced at £385.00. If you wish to upgrade to a bottle of champagne or add a bouquet of flowers, we can arrange this for you.

This August, our booking team helped Niresh plan his perfect proposal to Smurti. Our booking team and driver-guide assisted in planning and advising the perfect place to propose and ensured the great British weather did not affect their day. Whilst on their tour of the Lake District, Niresh decided to pop the question at the beautiful Surprise View viewpoint above Keswick.
